CellSonic Medical

CellSonic is both the name of a company and the name of a machine. We apologise for this confusion. It is unintentional. When the idea to zap cellulite with a lithotripter cheap enough to use in a beauty salon was conceived at the turn of the century we only expected to have one product, the CellSonic machine. Cell comes from cellulite and Sonic comes from the sound of the bang focussed into the body. What we should have seen is that with the skills to develop a lithotripter we can easily make more machines to cure more ailments so that is what we have done and at the time of writing we now make 18 machines and new ones are in the pipeline. Sorry, we are growing.

The group can be divided into four segments.

♦ Medical supplies hospitals and clinics where the user is qualified as a doctor or higher.

♦ Veterinary is similar to medical because vets are as highly qualified as doctors except that most of their patients have four legs instead of two.

♦ Beauty supplies therapists who have medical qualifications to enhance a person’s appearance and health.

♦ MyShape has a range of bras of all sizes, especially big. Exercise is necessary and impossible without a properly fitting bra so this works with the beauty division. The mastectomy bras also relate to the work of the hospital surgeons visited by our Medical sales team.

We are an international company. Even the machines have no single origin. Electronics is an international business so imports and exports whiz around the world until they come together and your machine is in your hands. Our people are from everywhere. Meetings are held in English and the total number of languages spoken by all present is seldom less than six. Very few of us have English as our first language.

We are financially cautious and do not borrow. All product development has long since been paid for. The warranty on the CellSonic machine is for ten years and for one year on other machines. No one else can give you such assurance. In the medical field it has to be this way.

CellSonic is a promoting member of the ISMST, International Society for Medical Shockwave Treatments. Their annual conference is held in a different place in the world each year. They gather the latest news on the use of shockwaves and verify the quality of machines.
